Stock Control only too often involves huge amounts of manual labour.

The techniques we have designed are aimed at eliminating this manual content as far as is possible by the introduction of sophisticated barcoding techniques.

Every item in the warehouse will be barcoded. Every shelf and location carries a barcode. Whenever an item is added to or subtracted from a location counts on the main computer are automatically updated.

The main computer system knows the theoretical contents of every location. Barcoded stock checks then become a simple means of verifying the accuracy of this theoretical stock.

The stock control systems we write contain a wealth of management information. Daily stock movement reports, stock valuation reports, stock order lead time reports, most popular stock items, items most commonly ordered together - these are but a few of the reports and analyses we can extract from the system we build.
